So will there be more cheers or boos tonight??
How do you see it? If you were there, what would you do? I'd cheer - can't fault a guy who did a lot for the organization and then chose to set up generations of his family financially.

He was the best player in baseball when he was here....and I would give him a standing O his 1st time up
After that,he would be just another player that no longer plays here.
He would have been treated like a Stan the Man but he took the money so fork him and feed him fish heads.

OK, the Cards fans showed a lot of class applauding AP when he came up to bat and even when he hit the HR. But dayum, did the guy really deserve a standing O every time he did anything? We went from showing class to embarrassing ourselves as a fandom... Enough already!!
I, for one, am glad he is on a plane and we're done with the over-the-top celebration. I'm only slightly more tired of Gloria than I am watching #5 get standing O's for lacing up his cleats and tucking in his shirt...
Now, get outta my yard!!
