U.S. Open picks
      #249127 - 06/18/15 07:39 AM

I'm going with Phil. If not him, it will be one of the young guns (Fowler, Spieth, McIlroy, etc...).

Would like to see Kuchar win a major but fear it is in his head now. Sort of like Phil for all of those years, before he won one...

I have a feeling that course is going to win!

Sticking with Phil... He's within striking distance and seems to be on his game.

Kinda fun to watch Tiger implode...

Spieth or Stenson. Was going with Day til he passed out on 18.

Ok drop Stinson and add D.J. And I'd like Day back. Carry on.

Day showed incredible guts yesterday. He deserves the win today.

My bet is on Chi Chi though.

Have missed it so far but will see it today. Spieth has a great shot at it but dang it would be something if Day can pull it off.

Loui with the hottest hand but 3 strokes down on 4 guys will be tough to come back to.

So much for Phil staying the course... At least he made the cut!! How pathetic for some of those pro's to go public with their biatching and belly-aching about the course. As a fan, I loved it. I remember Nicklaus used to talk about the whiners. He loved them. He would later tell us that he loved them because he knew he didn't have to worry much about them. Once the course set-up got in their heads, they were no threat to win. He just figured we were all playing the same course and nobody had an advantage or disadvantage. And he knew a thing or two about winning...

That was quite a finish. With three holes to play there were 4 or 5 guys that could have won it. I think most of us would rather see a guy drain a putt to win rather than see a dude three-putt to lose it... But is was a dramatic finish nonetheless.

Hard to feel too sorry for Dustin Johnson. A guy should only get to have so much in life and he has already exceeded what most men dream of by a wide margin!! Talent, money, fame, a smokin' hot wife, etc... And his father-in-law is "The Great One."

This Spieth kid appears to be the real deal. He's about as cool as a cucumber and has all the tools needed. How amazing would it bee to see him win the British Open? 21 years old and he has the world by the arse...

What Dustin Johnson doesn't have is a major under his belt.

He is a big time 2nd place guy, with 4 solid opportunities already past him. Actually, he gave the Open away yesterday. Even I knew he needed to snuggle up and get the forkin par and live another day to go 18 against Spieth on Monday, who seemed to catch every break possible to get his second in a row.

I did "like" the course, and I enjoy watching the pro's squirm, but to bring the Open back there they need to do some work on those crappy greens.

That course was the worst I have ever seen for an Open. Yeah, it was the same for all players but it was atrocious. The greens were so bumpy in places I don't know how anyone made a putt. Look at the final score. It hardly changed for the last three days.

Jordan Spieth =

3/4 of the other "Pros" =

They all played on the same course. They all putted on the same greens. Some guys put on their big boy pants and dealt with it. Waaaaay too many cried like a petulant child and showed just how little they are... I hope Ian Poulter never wins another thing in his life. In fact, I think he should be given a pacifier by the USGA and asked not to come to next year's...
