Stanley Cup
      #248980 - 05/30/15 06:55 AM

Congrats to FORMER BLUE and STL native Ben Bishop on another game 7 shutout last night to put his team in the SCF's.

Now, if there really is a God, the Hawks will lose tonight and I can truly enjoy the last round of play.

I have a suggestion for Tom Stillman, Doug Armstrong and Ken Hitchcock... Take the video from all 14 of the NHL Conference finals games and make every player and coach watch them over and over. And about every 2 or 3 mins just keep saying to them, "See boys, this is how you win in the playoffs. You give every ounce of what is in you, on every stride of every shift you play..." The problem is that we have some guys that apparently just don't have enough in them...

Last night's game was a great example of two teams that had every player giving everything they had. I expect the same tonight. However, I have a bad feeling the Hawks are going to prevail. I'll be rooting Ducks all the way but Chicago has too many guys that know how to get it done and have the skill to do it. Let's hope this is one of those rare occasions where I'm wrong...

Well, keep your eye on on Maroon, another STL kid living the dream on the best line in hockey.

I think the Ducks have had the short end of things this series. It gets turned around tonight.

Ducks 4-2 with an empty netter to finish them off. And please, somebody knock Shaws head clean off his shoulders. Legally, of course.

Once again, I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see how the Lightning beat them. The Hawks are just too loaded with talent and they have the Cup experience. That Game 1 was a back-breaker for the Lightning. Let's hope they see it as a positive (that they can hang with the Hawks) and not let it deflate them.

I used to just not like the Hawks but I liked Coach Q. Now I hate them with a passion and I think Coach Q is a complete a-hole. He biatches and moans and whines as if the refs and whole NHL is against him. And the Hawks have turned into the cheapest, dirtiest players in the League. Biting? Seriously, WTF???

Man, I wish our Blues could learn to play dirty, win and be hated like that...

I thought this was fitting of the Blues annual playoff run for the Stanley Cup
