As if it hadn't been rendered completely meaningless by awarding it to the world's leading terrorist, Yasir Arafat and the single worst President the US has ever had, Jimmy Carter, a few years back... This should solidify, once and for all what that goofy organization and it's "Peace Prize" is really all about.
Word is they didn't give it to Ahmadinejad because he couldn't make the presentation awards. It seems he already had a few political prisoner executions and a torture to attend that night... Some woman got caught learning to read, so they are gouging out her eyes. He simply couldn't miss it.
What a joke that organization has become!!

This was my first thought also, but I suppose it fits their mentality.
I agree its another joke to go beside his Oscar.

The story now is that some people are hoping winning the Nobel Peace Prize will inspire Gore to run for President again.
I kind of hope he does. He'd be an even worse President than Carter, of course. We'd lose the whole Middle East and adopt a bunch of laws to avoid "global warming" - it would take decades to recover from a Gore Presidency.
But Gore's a professional politician. He's probably lying about most of the stuff he professes to "believe".
I'd sure like to see somebody knock Hillary out of the running - even Gore. That woman's evil.
